Yeah, they don’t disable achievements. But as someone else already pointed out you can’t get S+ rank with infinite ammo weapons (which means no unlocking the infinite ATM-4 or chaingun). You also can’t get the achievement for not using the item box (since you have to open the item box to get the infinite ammo weapons).

What RE6 excels in doing in the opening chapter is making it feel like you’re in an open space, then funneling you into a tight corridor.
