Passengers travelling on the London underground tubes currently have no means of knowing their whereabouts between stations. The challenge for providing such service is that the London underground tunnels have no GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or any kind of terrestrial signals to leverage.

You can use Apple Pay to pay as you go across all Transport for London services, including the Underground, buses and trams. Paying for journeys is easy using Apple Pay and works the same as using a contactless card. You just need to touch in at the start of your journey and touch out at the end on yellow card readers.
Can I add Oyster to Apple Wallet?
You can’t currently add Oyster photocards to this app. You can’t currently buy discounted tickets through the app. For security reasons the TfL Oyster and contactless app is not supported on jailbroken devices.
