How do you give Reiju?
In traditional circles in Japan reiju is generally given whenever a student and teacher meet and this may be as regularly as once a week. You may receive from four reiju in a Reiki Level I course, three in a Level II course and one in a Level III Master/Teacher course – but this is the bare minimum.

Do you need attunement to practice Reiki?
The attunement allows you to become a vessel of reiki, and move reiki energy for yourself and others. While you can read about reiki in a book and learn hand positions, until you have been attuned to channel reiki, you cannot truly practice reiki.

Attunement. Some magic items require a creature to form a bond with them before their magical Properties can be used. This bond is called attunement, and certain items have a prerequisite for it. If the prerequisite is a class, a creature must be a member of that class to attune to the item.

What does an attunement do?
Attunement is the stat that allows the use of spells, alongside Intelligence; basically, attunement is how many spells (sorcories, miracles, or pyromancies) that you can stock at once, which you “attune” at a bonfire once you aquire them. Attunement grants 1 slot at 10, and 5 slots at 19.
How do you break your attunement?
A creature can also voluntarily end attunement by spending another short rest focused on the item, unless the item is cursed.
How do you gain attunement?
Attunement Information & Notes Increases the number of Attunement Slots available for Pyromancies, Sorceries, and Miracles. Wearing special rings can increase the number of Attunement slot: The White Seance Ring which grant more Attunement slot by 1. Darkmoon Seance Ring which grant more Attunement slot by 1.
How many years does it take to become a Reiki master?
Some Reiki masters require a minimum of 1 year between First- and Second-degree Reiki classes. Practicing an additional one to two years before becoming a Reiki master is the minimum desired; traditional Reiki masters often require students to have even more experience.
